The Nick Chaconas Experience

A Journey of Wealth & Well-Being

From "aha" to "oh crap ," I'm sharing everything on my journey as an investor.

My name is Nick Chaconas. Just an ordinary guy who decided I wanted something more.

"My family deserves better. I'm capable of so much more. I'm tired of living a mediocre life as I trade time for money."

That's how it all started. I was sick and tired of the life I was living, with all the wrong dialogue playing on repeat in my head.

In early 2021 I committed to leave the life of "just being a realtor" behind and become a real estate investor .. and to document the journey from brand new real estate investor to having consistent $20,000+ months!

It's About the Adventure

I'm going to keep it short, considering it's Good Friday and all.

It's been quite a few weeks for me, and those closest to me that had to put up with my wild ups and downs as the Catalfa deal was running it's course .. not to mention the other deal I was working.

That reminds me, I totally slipped on keeping you up to date on my Brandywine deal .. the 6,000+ sqft house that I was planning on renovating. Turns out the math to get the deal closed was just out of reach for me, so I ended up assigning the deal to another investor that is going to complete the renovations and resell it. Considering the scope of work and the potential margins, I agreed to a smaller than normal assignment fee of $5,000 upfront and I'll also get 10% of the profit on the backend.

More 🍾🍾🍾🍾 to pop. :)

I'll end with an excerpt from The Alchemist, which I finished earlier in the week and another from The Third Door, which I just started.

As the boy discusses his dreams with The Alchemist, he shares that his heart is afraid to suffer. The Alchemist provides this advice...

"..People are afraid to pursue their most important dreams, because they feel that they don't deserve them, or that they'll be unable to achieve them. .... Tell your heart that the fear of suffering is worse than the suffering itself. And that no heart has ever suffered when it goes in search of its dreams, because every second of the search is a second's encounter with God and with eternity"

and another from The Third Door, which I just started.

The author is on a journey, which ultimately resulted in the publishing of the book, to find and interview moguls and icons on industry so he can learn how them climbed their respective mountains and achieved what they achieved.

Early in his search, he ends up speaking with Elliott Bisnow - creator of The Summit series and author of Make No Small Plans. At the conclusion of the whirlwind of an interview, Elliott provides the author with 5 Ground Rules. The first 4 are important in and of themselves, but the 5th one caught my attention.

Adventures only happen to the Adventurous

ps .. Kelly .. sorry, not sorry for all the book recommendations!
