Growth Lies Beyond the Obstacles
Have you ever found yourself meticulously planning every step of trip or adventure or new business venture, only to be met with the unexpected?

In the realm of real estate investing … a sudden market downturn (like we experienced just last year) or an investment not yielding the expected returns (ie: George St and Coastal Hwy) isn't just a setback – it's an opportunity to learn, adapt, and grow stronger.

It teaches resilience, flexibility, and the art of finding silver linings.

Hannover is teaching me this lesson at this very moment.

As a reminder .. I found a buyer back in early December and he backed out on Dec 30th.

Damn!

Then found another buyer on January 6th that was willing to pay $20,000 more than the first buyer.

And then the appraisal came back $10,000 UNDER the contract price AND required some repairs to the property.

Because of the contract I have with the seller that 1-2 punch landed squarely in my gut.

Years ago, I would have cussed up a storm, played the victim and complained to anyone within ear shot.

Last week, I said “It is what it is” gathered my tools, went to Home Depot to get the necessary materials needed and went to the property to make the repairs.

With the repairs completed and signed off by the appraiser, we are on schedule to close tomorrow.

The appraisal happened for me, not to me.

The next time life veers off the expected path, remember: it's happening for you.

Each twist and turn is an opportunity to learn, grow, and evolve into a more resilient, insightful, and fulfilled individual.

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass; it's about learning to dance in the rain.
